How do I cange a PAF5 to a GEDCOM? I am still trying to import my family tree back to Genes several people have tried to help and I have sent a message to Judy from the States. But I seem to think that the problem is that the PAF needs to be a GEDCOM but have not a clue on how to change it. |

Give me a minute..... Open your PAF file File Export Other Gedcom 5.5 Change the CHAR to ANSI Click on Export Click YES Boxx will comeup saying *.ged. Change the * to whatever you want to call it! On here, click Import Gedcom, choose the file you've named above and hey presto! Depending on the size of the tree it can take a while to transfer and may take a couple of attempts Lou |
