my husbands mother was 48 when he was born in 1958 and she died age 92 in 2002 |

Hi Lou, Thanks for your reply Yes I think it is the right family, all the kids that they had in the 1891 census are there with the right ages it is just they have changed address. I will ahve to get the babys cert to make sure. If she did have an 8 month old baby in 1901 it is very sad because she died in 1902, of what I dont know but she was in hospital in the 1901 census and she died in the same hospital in 1902, so I think she may have been in there all that time?? |

Its unusual but not impossible. I received a birth cert this morning for a child I was convinced was my 3xgrandmother's illegitimate son but it turns out he was born to her parents. Sarah was 46 when he was born, the father was 48! The child's birth cert will tell you for certain Lou |

I think i have found a family on the 1901census that I have been looking for quite a while..but they had an 8 month old baby , the mother was not on the census for the family, but found her separately in hospital and she is 48 in 1901 do you think this is too old for her to have another child? I mean would it have been likely in 1901? just want to make sure of the chances that i have found the right family |
