Hi try the national archavist for passport applications upto 1903 they will give you how many in a surname but you have to buy credits to see the rest of the information ie first names etc As i havent had to find anyone who had a passport i dont know what they show you. Colette xx |

thanks Sarah,that'd be great. her mothers maiden name was Eddy and her first married surmane was Beard. her mum was from Cornwall but was living in Plymouth by the time my grandfather was born(1916) Karen |

i've been trying to find the birth entry for my grandfathers sister. her name was natalie mary moran and she was born in 1912.i have her death certificate but for date of birth it says sept 1912--plymouth. a family member has said that she was born in india but we don't think this is true. natalies mother had left her husband and children in cornwall and supposedly run of with a black man(their words). she then married her second husband in plymouth in 1913. i've search the registers for natalies birth but have also searched using her mums maiden and first married name but nothing, anyone have any suggestions as to where i go from here Karen |
