I can't delete

I am trying to delete my children from my tree on GC but it says 'cannot delete relation who is connected to multiple relations'. Any advice please. Gill

You have to delete from the botom up, any offspring have to go before their parent, however may generation you need to go back

Done it! You have to delete the partner first.

Further to Nola's (I am fuming) I deleted my children and grandchild, I had no problem with 2 children but would not let me delete 3rd child as she has a partner, tried deleting him first but said would not let you delete anyone with multiple partner, so just put unknown. Carol.

I was having problems deleting living rellies and ended up deleting my whole tree! Have to start again now, but at least I will only have ancestors on

Deleting names from the 'tree' on this site is more painful than having a tooth pulled. Have followed all the instructions given but it would not delete parents once I had deleted the children - gave up and deleted the lot ! Now I should be all alone on my tree but if I try to check it I get an error message - so ya cant win em all .... or even a few.
