Please can you help me find MARTHA SILVEY b c1819 in Bristol. Occupation Midwife. Status Widowed. I have found her in 1841,1851 & 1861 all in Gloucester. No sign in 1871. In 1881 she is widowed & with her daughter at 31 Newtown, South Hamlet, Gloucester. RG11/2537, Folio 128, Page 22. (Head of household William Boucher). In 1891 her daughter & family are in Birmingham RG12/2370, Folio 23, Page 100 but no sign of Martha. I have found index for likely death in 1899. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks, Helen |

Hi Jess I have got an index for Sep 1899 in GLOUCESTER. I have not sent for the certificate yet but at that time I have not come across any other Martha Silveys in Gloucester & the age of 75 would be about right. Helen |

i have looked for others on the same census page of 1861 on the 1871 census and cant find them either which suggests to be that it is not fully transcribed or maybe it wasnt readable |
