Maureen....the web address I gave you explains better than I could on how to remove the toolbar.....You can't be online when you attempt to remove it.....it's best to print off the directions for removal and start your PC in SAFE MODE which will turn the program off and make for easier removal. The directions for starting your PC in safe mode are on the TIPS board; thread '1 Stop Routine PC Maintenance.' The directions are at the beginning of the thread and starting in safe mode is easy. Judy, hi there . can you tell me whats going wrong please. when i boot up mornings, WINDS 98 loads up ok, then it hangs or freezes whatever you what to call it. The mouse also wont work. CTL, ALT and DEL brings up a message EXPLORER not responding. Reboot and everything works fine, then let it go into standby, shut down, and come back to it again, same thing. reboot and its back to normal. Any suggestions please??? TED. |
