Why can i not find someone on the 1861 Census on Ancestry i have found him on all the other Census available but his whole family have seemed to have diappeared. I hope someone person can point me in the right direction on this one Thanks in advance |

Hello Pat, The Person i am looking for is William Chippendale/Chippindale his father on his marriage cert is also William Chippendale/Chippindale but it could be william Sharples and his mother is mary Chippendale/Chippindale. |

Lancashire he was born in Clayton le Moors well thats what the later Census say! |

Some of my relatives are missing from the 1861 census in Halifax. When I was in the local records office they told me that not everyone is on the census (I assumed just for that area!) because the people doing the forms didn't go to all the streets. Rachel |
