My door closer was a middle aged woman, would they also do such a job? Your explanation would make sense as they lived in Coalville in Leicester where there were alot of mines at the time |

I have found two ancestors on censuses- one is a Door CLOSER and the other is a PICKER UP. Would i take these to be literally what they are described as? |
