Having successfully got my tree onto a PAF file, I excitedly decided to do a PAF database for my husband's tree. I don't have as much info on his lot, so thought I would romp through it. Transfering info from my notes to the computer was going swimmingly and I found the program easy to use. Then as I was putting in info on his gt grandmother (she whose grave we couldn't find recently) I found I hadn't got her place of birth from the 1901 census. So I trolled off to the 1901 govt website to look and - how typical is this, folks! - she is the last entry on the page and after her name, age and statement 'wife' there is nothing. It's completely blank. Of course I had to pay for 2 images as the children are on the next page. Gggrrr! nell |
