Thanks Nell, I must be going even madder than I thought, I couldn't even find the thread on my own threads! No, the Cana research isn't going too well, although I have established that it is actually Canada, not Cana. Oh, and whilst we are on the subject, Eden is of course Edinburg.This may be some help to you in your own researches as I believe Scottish Archives are much more informative than English. Marjorie

Marjorie It was Debby. I've nudged her Weddings thread to the top with a note about your thread. nell how are you getting on with the microfiche of the Cana wedding guests - have you found a relationship between the bride and the witnesses?

Had a little searchiekins and found these: Bradford Cathedral - Parish Church of Bradford St. James, Bolton, Bradford - Parish Church and this, which I think is probably it: Idle, Bradford - Parish Church: Holy Trinity. Regards Marjorie
