Hi Is there anyone out there who can tell me where I can get Immigration Records from? My Gt Uncle left England in c1900 and went to Australia because of where he lived I am presuming he left from Liverpool Docks. I know he went to Perth in Western Australia. Because when he joined the Austrialian Army he put his address down as Perth. Can anybody advise me of where to look? Regards Cheryl

Hi Dea Thanks for the offer can't seem to find any information about him doh!!! His name was : ELLIS SPENCER BORN 1880 BURLAND NANTWICH CHESHIRE found him in 1891 on Census then he disappeared. I have just managed to find his Service Record after 4 years of trying and i am waiting for it to arrive. What bit I have managed to find out is that he enlisted in the Australian Army in c1901 the place of enlistment was Perth Western Australia. I am assuming he left Liverpool because that is the nearest port but he might have travelled from anywhere. He could have been travelling with another family member but again I'm not sure. Anything you can turn up would be wonderful. Thanks again for the offer Regards cheryl
