why cant i find

ive been looking for the birth, baptism, christening of william smith. i have found him on 1841, 1851 census in stourton warwickshire which state he was born in wolford warwickshire. On the 1841 census was elizabeth smith age 60 and william smith was 40 so i presume she was his mother i do know that he married eliza ryman but i just cant find a record of his birth. i have looked on ancestry and family search site. dont know what else to do |

Wolvey is east of Nuneaton and south of Hinckley - perhaps 35 miles from Gt Wolford. |

probably not the right william from wolvsey then. it seems quite strange that i am able to find other family goings on recorded in wolford, but not williams |
