Last nite I was looking for someone on the 1901, as in the last 2 wesks, could not find them so did a search by the last known address and found them! the surname had been mistranscribed. This morning i thought i would try the same with another branch from the 1901 that i could not find. just put loads of different spellings into ancestry and found them, again mistranscribed...found the fasmily and another 2 ancestors who were born since the 1891 census that i did not know about! aahhh success!!

Hi Claire I am so pleased, it is so frustrating when you can find someone who you know is out there. The 'lost' ancestors were driving me mad. end of mystery now, thought they might have all been wiped out at one point lol
