East London Created 1st April 1838 (renaming of Bishopsgate district). Abolished 1st January 1870 (incorporated into London City district). In Middlesex. Sub-districts : Cripplegate; St. Botolph. GRO volumes : II (1838-51); 1c (1852-69). Glasshouse Yard, St. Botolph without Aldersgate, St. Botolph without Aldgate, St. Botolph without Bishopsgate, St. Giles without Cripplegate. Can someone please tell me where this eactly is?????? Thanks xxx
