Thanks for the information. i have his marriage cert. this took place in east dulwich london,in1930. His father was joseph davies insurance agent. I think he came from the london,no other information to say he did not. Sorry not much help. thanks again helenx

Helen, I have a marriage certificate where both parties lied about their ages, by a big difference, but it only came to light when they were pensionable. Nicky

Hi Helen Neither are necessarily correct, people often fibbed about their age or just plain forgot how old they were. And as mentioned above, age at death is given by the person who registers the death so if they didn't know exactly how old someone was, it won't be correct. Sam

Hi Helen, I wouldnt take his age at death as truth as the person who registered the death may not have known his actual age. Nicky

Need all the help i can get!!!!!!!!!! In 1930 samuel davies married age 25,born 1905??? In 1950 samuel davies died age 47,born 1903??? Question 1, what year do i use?? Question2,on 1837 i looked between1902/1905 and could not find him Help please helenx
