Just what records are kept where. I thought that Parish records would be kept fairly local and phoned Ludlow library to ask. I spoke to a lovely lady who assures me they do have census records but i must go to Shewsbury Records office for everything else. Is this true. I've just booked a break in Ludlow to do some research pre 1837 and now find that i'll still need to travel to Shewsbury. (I could have booked in there). Many thanks Joan |

Thanks, buying the fiche sounds okay but how much would a reader then cost me? Joan. |
