hi ya everyone i just thought id let ya know the latest as you know iv managed to find dad and some cousins through this fab site and we speak everyday on the phone well arrangements have been made for me to go and meet them for the first time may 20th il be staying at my cousins sue im counting the days im dead excited cant wait to meet everyone its gonna be awsome

Good,try not to get too excited,get some Q's down a bit of paper to go in your pocket in case your mind goes blank. it sounds harsh, but having only spoken on the phone, arrange to meet somewhere public and please dont go alone, both from an emotional point of view and safety. good for you Jess

I hope you have a wonderful time, but, I am in reunion for 2 years with birth daughter and only recently it kind of took a step back which was devastating. After the 'honeymoon period' people naturally think, what now, where do I fit into their lives? You have to ask qus of yourself. All I'm saying is that it is a highly emotional time for you all, enjoy it but keep a rational head and don't get hurt. thanks everyone for your advice which i really appriciate i have taken it on board its not long now as well as being excited im also nervous and i guess a bit scared too is this normal
