Can you find Alfred Langham born 1851 in Lambeth, Surrey with wife Mary Ann, with family Ellen. Alfred, John all born in Lambeth and Emily the youngest born in Battersea Have them on 1891. I KNOW it's going to be a mis-transcription and I have looked but I am crap at that LOL Thanks Linda

Thanks so much Trudy. I am sure that is them. although they seem to give their places of birth as where ever they are living at the time, except for wife Mary, she seems more consistent. I will get the hang of this wild card search one day!!!!! Thanks again Linda

Looking at the original, I would suspect that the 'birthplace' thing is down to the enumerator being lazy, rather than them giving different info. Trudy
