My g grandfather and his brother (William Pearce Fuller and Thomas William Fuller) where both born in India around 1858-1863. Could anyone help me as to where to go from here to trace their parents. On 1901 census marked as British Subject. Found them both on 1891 census living together but no idea of parents. Have looked on 1837online and ancestry.co.uk. Is there somewhere I can go to look up details??? Any help would be greatly appreicated. Thanks Elaine Flanagan. |

Have you tried ordering their birth certificates using the info found on 1837online? You should be able to with the information from the 'births overseas' section. This will then give you the father's and mother's name and occupation of father. |

Thanks, but could not trace anything on 1837online. Just wanted to know if there was somewhere I could go to look up any other records which may be kept. Thanks for help. |

Elaine - try this site http://www.fibis.org/index.htm It has loads of stuff on it, but wait for the home page to load and then click FIBIS Search at the top. Kate. |
