hi everyone does anyone know if ships sailed from Australia to Scotland in the early 1960's and if so what port did they go in to?? |

I would think they did, though googling has only shown that Australian nuclear waste was shipped to Scotland for processing! As for where, major ports I imagine. nell |

I dont know about docking in Scotland but I had a scotish aunt who came back from Aus in the early 60s on a ship called the Stratheden and it docked at Tilbury in london the ship itself was owned by P&O I have contacted them in the past on another matter and found them very helpful it might be worth an email to them I believe this ship and another called Canbera were regulars on the Australian run |

When I came back from Australia in the 60's the two big ships were the Canberra and the Norther Star ,which stopped at Southampton first then on to other ports in the UK. Sheila |
