I can't find my Gt. Gt. garandmother. She is the only English person in my Scots line & I cannot find her. I only know 4 years of her life. Her name is Mary Ann Thurrell. I have her marriage cert. She married David Baird (from Edinburgh) in Islington 1851. She had my gt. grandfather, also David Baird, in 1853. He was born in Lambeth. Someone looked up the address in Lambeth on 1851 census to see if her family was there. Not right name. She died in 1855. She died at the same address in Islington as she got married from. She was married in Sept. 1851. Where would I look to find her on 1851 census. On marriage cert. gives her father as Joseph Thurrell, witness James Thurrell. There is a Mary Ann Thurrell on IGI but father is Jonas. NEED HELP PLEASE. Thanks Hilary. |
