Used to be Northants, but now part of Cambridgeshire,( Soke of Peterborough) so you will need to consult both counties. I have ancestors from Peterborough NORTHANTS in 1600's/1700's. Parish Records are in Northants County Record Office. Janet

Thanks for your replies, I am searching for the birth of Margaret Frances Dickenson. I have her marriage certificate to George Robert Ellis in Lambeth 1910 saying they were both 21. I have found Georges' birth but can't find hers, he was born in Lambeth The only reason I am looking in Peterborough and surrounding areas is because found some previous evidence she might have been born there. Hi, could you not ask someone for a 1891 census look up, she would be about 2yrs. old. Good luck Hilary

Hi Hilary, I think I have found her on 1901 census in Lambeth but she is in Hospital so no joy there with parents or siblings. Can't seen to find her on 1891 at all. I'll keep hunting Linda

Ancestry gives a Frances N Dickenson for 1891 in Orpington, Kent, which is only about 10 miles farther out of London than Lambeth. The image looks as though it could be an M as much as an N. She is down as the grand-daughter. Do you want me to send you the image? Sue in Berkshire
