Hello. Does anyone know how I would go about finding children of George Hone 26 and Florence Hone 22 who are on the 1901 Census. I thought this George Hone had died at early age and have only just found him. Thanks Pam.

From 1901 Florence Hone 22 Poplar, London, England Wife East Ham Essex George Hone 26 Poplar, London, England Head East Ham Essex guess need to look for children born soon after 1901, not well covered by ancestry, but will have a look for 'potentials' Jess

What is your connection with these people? this may be a son of theirs and maybe worth while sending for the cert, will give parents names and mother maiden name Name: Hone, Sydney Arthur Record Type: Births Quarter: March Year: 1903 District: Poplar County: London Middlesex Volume: 1c Page: 566

Thanks Jess. Probably be quite difficult to find. I will try 1837. Hopefully if had son will be called George. Off to do ironing now. Appreciate advice very much. Thanks Pam.

Hello again, (Still not ironing). George James Hone is son of my great grandfather George James Hone. I have found out sooooo much and it is very interesting indeed. All started when I was trying to find out about my grandfather Albert Edward Hone who disappeared from home in 1930 never to be seen again. Decided to start with his father George and all I had to go on was a name. I have since found all his family, parents, brothers and sisters. I am trying to find a link with someone down the Hone line to find out what happened to my grandfather. I have found him buried in Kingston Upon Thames with no headstone, I think. No one in my family ever talks about the Hone side as I don't think they know much either. Have his death certificate. Also have death certificate of a brother of my grandfather and am chasing connections there at the moment. Any advice greatly appreciated. Sometimes feel I am going round in circles. Thanks again Pam.
