Hi Just wondering if it possible to track down an inquest online. I was advised to try www(.)pro(.)gov(.)uk but cant find the one I am after I realise that there is a 75 year closure on them but this one was 1907 Christina |

Christina Inquest papers are often routinely destroyed after a period of time. But you can usually read a report of the inquest in a local paper. The death cert will have the date of the inquest on it, so it wouldn't take too much looking up. I got the paragraph about my gt grandfather's inquest from a local paper on microfilm in the Islington local history centre - there were two local papers, but only one carried a report. nell |
