Hi all Whilst transcribing the 1861 for freecen, I have an occupation which has come up 3 times in the past 2 pages and I can't work out for the life of me what it says. I dont want to keep putting x's every time if one of you good folk can solve it for me. At first I thought it was grocer, but would a grocer have 2 apprentices and an assistant?? Does anyone fancy trying to decipher it if I mail you the image? Thanks in advance Steve |

Thanks Vikki On this one, it was the appalling handwriting that threw me. But this site will certainly come in handy. Cheers Steve |
