I have been researching TAZEY for 2 years and have not been able to find out where the name comes from (it has many variations) and today I found on 1861 census for London two TAZEYs who were born in Ireland!!!!!! You may think that I should have found out this before (I did suspect) but they all seem to be in Durham/Northumberland/Shropshire so concentrated my searchs for these areas, then just went for a search in different areas and bang there they were!! Just one problem, were do I go from here? anybody got any clues as I think I remember reading that records for Ireland were destroyed in a fire? would love to know what advice you will give me for going back further in Ireland Thanks from a very happy Angie |
