Found baby Emily, born exactly 281 days after her mummy and daddy's marriage. Gosh, I thought, that's respectable (practically a first for my family). Then I got to thinking - suppose she was a few days late? Not respectable at all. On the other hand, she might have been a few days early - dead respectable. What on earth is wrong with me?! Marjorie Why do you always start interesting sounding threads so late at night? I picture you with very pale skin, rather sharp incisors, and suspiciously red lips. I've got to get up in the morning, so look forwards to reading this tomorrow. I do not want to get side-tracked!

Brenda I am a desperate insomniac! LOL! Got pale skin alright, but tragically, no red lips and me teeth are nearly all gone. Ah well, if no-one wants to play, I'd better get back to my vault... Marjorie

Although the *average* 'pregnancy term' is quoted as 40 weeks, in fact this includes approximately 2 weeks before the fertilisation has occurred.
