Birmingham South Created 1st January 1925 (renaming of Birmingham and Kings Norton districts). Sub-districts : All Saints; Lady Wood; St. George; St. Martin; St. Mary; St. Paul; St. Peter; St. Philip; St. Thomas; Yardley. GRO volumes : 6d (1925-1930). Balsall Heath, Birmingham (part), Edgbaston, King's Norton, Harborne, Ridgacre, Smethwick, Yardley. Registers now in Birmingham district |

Bromsgrove Created 1st July 1837. Mainly in Worcestershire, but included parts of Shropshire and Staffordshire. Sub-districts : Belbroughton; Bromsgrove; Tardebigg. GRO volumes : XVIII (1837-51); 6c (1852-1930). Clent (1837-44). Registers now divided between Bromsgrove and Dudley districts |

Bromsgrove is a district in its own right. Registers are now divided between Bromsgrove and Dudley. Kath. p.s. got this from googling 'Bromsgrove registration district'. |

All info regarding reg districts can be found at http://www.fhsc.org.uk/genuki/REG/ Birmingham North Created 1st January 1925 (out of Aston, Birmingham, King's Norton and West Bromwich districts). Sub-districts : Aston; Duddesdon; Erdington; Handsworth; Perry Barr. GRO volumes : 6d (1925-1930). Aston, Aston Manor, Beoley, Birmingham (part), Bordesley, Deritend, Duddeston cum Nechells, Erdington, Handsworth, Little Bromwich, Northfield, Perry Barr (from 1928), Quinton, Saltley and Washwood, Witton. Registers now in Birmingham district. |
