where is canterbury record office ??

Thankyou for that, typical though, my car is in the garage friday, so i thought as i have to go to canterbury to get it done, i'll do some lookups, its shut fridays, oh well, another trip to be made sandra

The Cathedral one is quite good, it's in the Cloisters. You need to book. And it's free apart from photocopies. You don't have to pay the normal visitor charge to the cathedral, just tell the ticket kiosk you have a booking at the Archives. There's a multi-storey car park not too far away if you go by car.

Sandra Its called Canterbury Cathedral Archives - there are several archives/records offices in Kent and details of all of them are here: www.kent.gov.uk/e&l/artslib/archives/home.html nell

Hi I have googled and can't find where canterbury parish record office is. i don't usually have a problem but can't see it for looking sandra
