Alison, records of baptisms, marriages and deaths were recorded by the clergy in Parish Records. These are stored on microfiche at local record offices and also LDS centres. My advice would be to start by visiting the Latter Day Saints Website and do some searches of the IGI. Regards Paul

So far in searching for my family records i have gone back to around 1837, how do i go about finding out the records before this time, are they online or do i need to go to the family records centre?
