birth lookups in Kent cqn anyone help?

Kent is a huge county and has at least three archives for different areas. Are you able to narrow the place of birth down at all? Darryl

hi Darryl i think there is a big chance it was around the Sevenoaks area as this is where he lived and his children went on to live.

Claire, is this the same Thomas Simmons you were looking for yesterday? He appeared to give the same birthplace on all those census, so maybe you should try the parish records for Penshurst.

Thanks Janet i will!! Davo i know his wife was an Ann although we are still trying to find out what her maiden name was. He has 6 children, Susanna, maryann, thomas, geoffery, George and i can't remember the other one my notes are at home its possibly John.

Davo when Thomas was 39 he lived at 2 opposite Blue Anchor in Sevenoaks!! I can't work out if the house was called Blue Anchor or if the street was called opposite blue anchor (doesnt really sound like street name tho does it)!!!
