In 1881 the Wilson family is living at 475 Old Kent Road Mary Ann Wilson – Head-Widow b abt 1831 Rotherhithe Emmeline Agnes c 1868 Annie c 1856 Lewisham Edith Mary c 1860 Camberwell Amy Constance c 1864 Camberwell In 1871 at 106 Peckham Park Road there are Florence M Wilson daughter 19 Emmeline Wilson daughter 3 ……NO ONE ELSE!!!!! I can’t find the rest of the family in 1871, and I can’t find any of them at all in 1861 ..any ideas please!! Peter |

Here they are in 1871 Ada Welson 1853 Greenwich, Kent, England V;d Holy Trinity Sussex Amy C Welson 1864 Camberwell, Surrey, England V;d Holy Trinity Sussex Francis D Welson 1830 Bermondsey, London, England V;h Holy Trinity Sussex Mary Ann Welson 1831 Rotherhithe, London, England V;w Holy Trinity Sussex I assume V mean s visitor, so visitor head, visitor wife, visitor daughter RG10/1031 Registration district: Hastings Sub-registration district: St Mary in the Castle ED, institution, or vessel: 7 Folio: 56 Page: 39 (click to see others on page) Household schedule number: 89a On the image the surname is Wilson, without the i being dotted. The address was 2 Claremont and the Head of the household is a Lodging House Keeper so I guess the family were on their holidays. Francis' occupation looks like 'Retired Hop Factor' |
