I thiink you've missed the offer of the £19.99 FTM I bought it last week for myself, but as it was my sister's birthday, gave it to her, as I couldn't think of anything else, intending to buy myself another copy when I got home. It had gone up to £39.99 |

I have family treemaker and really enjoy using it. It is really simple to use but when I have had a problem I have asked for help on this site and someone has told me how to solve it! Alice |

Hi Penny I would recommend Family Tree Maker version 2005 - I believe it's on special offer at PC World at the moment for £19.99. I had it for Christmas, and chose it because many GR members recommended it. It really is so easy to use, you can produce excellent reports AND you can have your own webpage (and it's easy to do your webpage too, just click a few buttons). Mandy :) |

Goodmorning everyone. Being a newbie to this community I have enjoyed reading the tips and have found them very helpful. I would like to download a family history programme and export my GR file to it. I understand this is possible. In the future I would also like to build a web site. Have you any recommendations - what's a good programme to use? Would I be better off popping down to PC world and buying a package off the shelf - if so, which one? I would appreciate any advice, Thanks, Penny. |
