Cheryl You mention the lady was trying to make contact via the message boards, perhaps if you post a message on those same boards she may see it. I recently had a contact from a message I posted 2yrs ago but they failed to give a reply address so I posted another reply and at last we have made contact. Hope this helps Judy

Could you send a letter to the South Cheshire Family History Society, giving your own details and asking them to pass them on to this lady? Kath. x

Hi Suszie Will give it a try. I'm desperate to make contact with her as this part of my tree has come to a dead end. Just my luck I can't contact her. Regards Cheryl

I've had the same problem. People's e-mail addresses change, sometimes the requests were posted years ago.

Hi Does anyone know how you can find out what somebody's email address is? Whilst searching the message boards on Ancestry, I found a message from a lady called Jan Bamford who was desperately looking for anyone with connections to the Foden and Leonard family in Congleton Cheshire My Great Grandfather was a Foden and he married a Leonard both from Congleton.I thought great I've found somebody with info about my family.Tried on several occasions to e mail her and my e mail keeps getting sent back. Gave up in the end. But about 30 mins ago I was looking on South Cheshire Family History Site and the same lady is listed on there asking for people with connections to the Foden /Leonard family in Congleton to get in touch. So i'd tried again and my e mail has just got kicked back again. Anybody any ideas of what I could do to make contact with this lady.!!!!!! Regards Cheryl
