I had to apply to Edinburgh for mine, but it was a very recent marriage. I think Gretna is in the county of Dumfries and Galloway? if that is any help. Claire xx |

Hi Pauline, Gretna Green is in Scotland so the records are held in Edinburgh. Statutory records only stated in 1855 in Scotland. I hope that is of help to you. Kind regards Margaret |
