You could try right clicking on the file and another message box comes up, then try Open with and look for Adobe or Acrobat Reader. Try that. |

Linda With my census CD's that don't run themselves, I just have to put the disc in, click on START, RUN and then when the little box comes up enter d:/ and it boots up! Lou |

Hi Beth, On the disc I received is says double click on 0458.pdf to run I have 0458-100 (D) Is that the same? Have double clicked but the message above keeps coming up. It's so frustrating I NEED to see this census disc NOW lol Linda |

Im a real fumble through it person, but have you tried putting on the cd and then clicking on start, search files and seeing if it is in there? |

Right click on 'Start' - click 'Explore' You will get a tree view. At the top are the drives on your machine, one of which will be the CD drive (D?) double click on that. You could also do this through 'My Computer' |

I open mine by clicking on the my computer icon on my decktop,then clicking on the icon for the cd drive(which is the E drive on here) That will bring up a list of all the stuff on the CD Anna :-) |

Try this, click on my computer, (if you dont have a cd icon on the desk top)it should show your available drives, with the cd inserted, doubleclick on the drive for the cd. usually. A= floppy drive, C= hard drive D= cd drive |
