Where to find Quaker baptisms?

I found out today that an ancestor was baptised in a Quaker church, and therefore isn't located anywhere in Parish registers. (Went all the way to Huddersfield to find that out lol) Question is - where can I find them? Apart from the IGI, is there anywhere online I could look?

I suggest you try the Quakers, either locally or I think the HQ is in Euston Road, or there abouts, in London. I wish you Success, David

Tracy This is TNA's research page on non-conformist records: www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/familyhistory/bmd/step1a.htm This is a link to information pages about the Religious Society of Friends' Library in London: www.quaker.org.uk/library/libhold.html I believe that most Quaker marriages and baptisms are part of the weekly meeting and as such would be listed in the records of meetings which are held in local records offices, but I'm not 100% sure about this. nell
