Helen, thanks for looking, and yes Middleton Manchester is where he came from. We could be related, spooky!! his wife came from Pendlebury but thats a whole new place and a whole new name. cheers Gloria |

you wont find those answers on 1837 only gives dates and vol and page number to order certs it wasn't until 1912 they put maiden names of mothers down. I have found Samuel Lockett with his wife in 1881 on Ancestry but not 1871 have you got that already. Jeanette |

1837 will not give parents, you need the certificate or parish record entry for that. If 1837 units are going to run out and you buy more then the unused ones are added to the new purchase, so are not lost. |

I have a few 1837 credits (very few) that are going to run out of time and need using, can I help anyone with look-ups? Not promising anything cos I don't know what I'm doing really Helen |
