Help Please Please 1861 cencus for coventry/ warwi

I am trying to find the 1861 cencus for Warwickshire that covers Coventry I am trying to find John Dalton and a Sarah Ann Dalton can anyone help please |

I found Sarah as a widow in 1871 she was 34yrs on cencus she had her sister Mary Ann Beck living with her and I found his death in 1871 March they got married in 1859 I found her on the 1881 cencus 43yrs old as a shopkeeper with the kids still with her. Any help would be brilliant thanks |

I was hoping for the cencus to get address where they where staying and to find where he was born as he is dead by the cencus in 1871 |

Val, Warwick records office have the 1861 census but it is not indexed , except by parish,so it would be a very long search.....if you wait a little while the 1861 will come onto ancestry. Good luck. Joan |

Hi Val, Yes - there's someone there who fits the bill. At 5 Howard Street, John is 23 years old - a Printer and Ribbon Box maker, Sarah is also 23 - a Dress Maker, and they have a Son, Henry, aged 1 year. John was born in Stoke, Coventry (as was I!) Sarah was born in Wolvey, Warks, and Henry born in Coventry. Please let me know if these are the 'right ones' Census Reference RG9/2209 Folio 102, page 1 Regards, Colin PARSONS, Coventry |
