When searching for names that contain the letter

If you cannot find a name containing the letter 'U',(as in Fuller)try using 'ee'instead of the 'u'. In some handwritten records,I have found that sometimes that the 'u' looks like 'ee'..Have solved quite a few problems by doing so.. |

Found the same thing in reverse twice in the past week - one was a lookup for someone seeking a marriage of a Beellen (it was listed under Bullen), and again looking for a marriage of Ann Leech, found her under Luch - and the latter one was 1988 too, so it's not just the old records that have the problem! |

how would I check what looks like fenural, have tried fennel, fenual, faneral, any ideas? |
