You could try the ulster Historical foundation. they have a pay to view records online for marriages and births with death records to be added soon. I found marriage details of my grandparents and great grandparents. they even show father of groom and spouse. des ps you can view the index for free. you conly pay if you wish to view record. |

There are some records, posted by individuals on various sites, but as yet there is no equivalent to 1837online, it is apparently under development by someone. The LDS do have films of BMD indexes of the whole of Ireland from 1864 to the early 1920's (from 1845 for non-catholic marriages), and I believe they have films for the seperate countries from partition to about 1960. As has been said, PRONI would be one of your best bets, although the LDS Centres here hold copies of the films as well. The LDS Centre on Holywood Road, Belfast has copies of the certificates on film as well I am told, although I have never been able to contact them to find out. Paul |

Deborah, the last time you asked about your Gladys and Primrose, you thought they were in Lancashire. Couldn't the local FHS help you? What makes you think they moved to Ireland? |

No, sorry, there isn't. If you look in cyndislist and GENUKI websites you can find a lot of information about research in Ireland. Joy |
