The only option I have is to allow trusted IP but I dont know FreeBMD's IP address. |

Hi Nicola. I had the same problem with Zone Alarm. Free B.M.D dosen't like "Firewalls" Try clicking on "McAfee" and go to your Firewall Program. Try and find Trusted Zone security or similar. There may be a little slide that says High,Medium,Low. Try it on Medium or Low. If this dosent work there may be a icon that says "custom" This opens up the custom Firewall settings. Hopefully you will see a box that says " Allow broadcast multicast " Put a tick in the box. This works on ZA. ( Zone Alarm web filtering.) Hopefully it will also work on McAfee? Sorry i cant be more helpful. Maybe somebody else with McAfee will hear your cry for "HELP" Cheers.Tony |

My partner has justed changed our firewall to McAfee and I cant work out how to adapt it to allow me to use freebmd. Any suggestions please. |
