In general terms, if you have robust security on your computer and a bit of common sense then you have nothing to worry about on GR.

This thread might be worth a nudge at this time but enough is enough, this has been going on since Thursday and more and more people being affected including the new unsuspecting newcomer who has just joined the site and has to face a nasty trojan as soon as they get here

I don't think you can stop it coming up - Errol is working on it - he has a thread on general board.

The important thing is that you always close by the 'x' rather than cancel and if it starts to scan - close everything down.

Also make sure all your security + firewalls are up to date.

You could always use a browser other than Internet explorer. I use opera or firefox which don't seem to be affected.

Janet, Firefox is affected it's the browser I use and I got hit.
