The best place for medical help is your GP.

Always worth getting it checked out by your GP if you are worried hun, but it sounds like its raised through stress. If you BP is ok I dont' think there is much to worry about. Just try not to get anxious about it, that can often make things worse.

A few years ago I suffered severe palpitations which were really frightening, had to have ECG's the lot, but heart is healthy. However I had trapped a nerve in my upper spine and an osteopath finally sorted out the problem. When the symptoms of trapped nerve disappeared after a massage and manouevre, so did the palpitations! Trouble is, I made the problem worse myself by constantly monitoring my heart rate and watching the stop watch! It then caused anxiety which exacerbated the problem.

Cut down on your caffeine (coffee AND tea, and coke, red bull and pepsi) and fags, they are stimulants and will raise heart rate.

As I and everyone else has said, go to your GP and get checked out. They really don't mind if nothing is wrong, far better you get it checked and be told all is well than not going and having something wrong.

Its the lower rate that is more the concern, your upper rate seems OK at 134 Mine is 165 over 70 and as I'm older then its an acceptable level for my age . If you are at all concerned then instead of driving yourself potty with worry, which will only raise you blood pressure anyway ,then make an appointment with your docs practice nurse to get your BP checked .

127/77 is good I would be more concerned about your pulse if you are resting..

Phone NHS direct PLEASE and take their advice.

Mine averages 90/60 - 125/75 but has dropped to 62/38 (that's why I can't have morphine based analgesia). People are all so different and you cannot base your readings on any of ours!

Good luck let us all know how you get on..

BUT ignoring problems don't make them go away its like a lady feeling a lump and ignoring it hoping its not a nasty . ANY medical problem is best sorted sooner than later ,AND sometimes later, if left, can be too late!!!
Get yourself checked out ,the docs arent Ogres
Reassurance will set you mind at rest and stop you get all het up with worry

OH wanted a bp machine but to test himself but doctor advised against it
he said you will be tempted to keep testing and then get worried if it fluctuates
Please get to a doctor
