My dear hubby Andy, made me a Valentine card last night, it's excellent as no one any where has one the same. All done on the PC which isn't hard for him to do, it's a picture of a little teddy holding 3 heart shaped balloons on a bed of red rose petals.
Very Cute!! lol

Yes he'd forgotten to buy one and didn't want to go to our local shop as they charge the earth, even I won't buy one from there.

I hope you still have it Ros? I like to have a read back when I'm being a bit nostalgic. I keep all the cards I get from hubby, I expect when I die they will be binned, but then again maybe the kids will have a read and see how much I like to keep things that are important to me.

Oh that is so nice Gillie, and Ros too, how lucky you are.
Mine could have done one like that, he has done in the past, made me an Easter card last year and also a Birthday card once, on the computer, but he has been too wrapped up in sending stuff to his son in the States, the one who keeps scrounging money but still hasn't sent his dad's promised birthday card or pressie!
Oh well at least I got a card.
Happy Valentine's Day.

Thank you Liz, I hope you soon get sorted with his son and get a bit more appreciation for your patience!

I must say I had a lovely surprise when hubby got home, he had bought me a huge bouquet of roses and gypsophila, they are gorgeous.

He is far more romatic these days than he ever was 22 years ago.

Gillie when my brother and I had to clear my mums house after her death we found a box in the bottom of her wardrobe of all the cards she and my dad had given each other, dad had died 21 years previously to her. It was so lovely reading through them seeing how much love and respect they had for each other both my brother and myself were so touched by it and im sure your children will be too.

Why can't he be nice more often lol?

Thank you Rox, I think they come from the heart too.

Jax how lovely, I hope my kids feel the same. I have even got there first Christmas cakes they made in a baked bean tin and decorated in royal icing from there days at playschool, you wait until they find them, they have gone yellow and the cake is horrid and dry but not mouldy anywhere. my daughters 30, and the lads are 21 and 19 so it shows how long Ive kept them lol.

Liz perhaps you're appreciated more than you think?
I'm glad he has bought you some flowers too.

Thank you everyone who answered my thread.

I have all my cards from various people over the years, my son will go mad when he has to get rid of everything, only him for them to go to lol
Lots of old loveletters etc too so might have to sort them out and get rid of some, might be too incriminating lol
