AND HOW LONG DO THEY WAIT FOR A DIVORCE IN ALBERT SQUARE? THOUGHT THE QUICKEST YOU COULD GET ONE WAS A YEAR WITH BOTH PARTIES AGREEING, NOT A MATTER OF WEEKS. LOL

Few weeks/months for adultery/unreasonable behaviour if both agree.
2 years for separation if both agree.
5 years for separation if not in agreement/desertion.

My husband received the divorce petition today for unreasonable behaviour .... wonder how long I'll have to wait?!

I waited 5 years for mine and he still wouldn't agree so it took longer than the date I'd hoped for:0))

I had to wait 3yrs for mine, even though he had committed adultery.

I could get a divorce within 24 hours - we got married in Vegas so we'd just need to hop on a plane to Reno lololol.. I often remind him of thatxx

Tp be honest, though I had to wait 5 years, my parents got theirs in 6 months and that was for adultery and unreasonable behaviour.

you can get one in 6 -8 weeks now,,,,but then have to wait for decree nisi to finalise it,,abt 3 -4 weeks,,,,

But I have to add, not all marriages are bad or end in divorce. We are happy and it will be 48 years in August.

Being serious...you are very lucky to have found the right person.
I thought and hoped I had made the right choice, but some people turn into monsters when they think they have ownership of you.
I'll joke about it now, but it wasn't easy and it's something I wont do again 15 years after getting my divorce x
