Just breaking on our local news, should be on national soon, there has been a massive explosion at the gas terminal at Bacton in Norfolk. Nobody hurt and everyone accounted for.

It's rumoured that the earthquake yesterday may have triggered it.

Emergency services are on site.

That's all we know so far.

It happened about 6.00pm this evening, must admit I didn't hear anything here, but I would have been on the bus home at the time.

Don't think it sounded here Teresa.
News people hadn't got a reporter there yet so not much to say on the subject apart from interviewing a local resident who was obviously out of her depth talking to reporters, what could she say, yes she heard the fire engines, yes there had been flames and was now black smoke and yes, her door had been blown open and her hubby thought she had blown up the oven with her cooking pmsl

On a much more trivial note, that blummin earthquake caused a light bulb to fly out of a fitting in my bathroom and my gas meter to go on the blink!!

I just said to OH I wonder if this means we lose our heating....though we would have to exhaust the local gasworks first surely. By that time they would be able to pipe a supply in again.

Yes I did have a good day BC, thank you hun xxx

Keep flicking on to sky but the news about Harry is taking first place and so far there hasn't been a mention of it. Lets hope its because its not as serious as first thought.
