It's blowing a gale here too!!! (Scottish Highlands) I have saved my washing umpteen times and am fed up with it!!!

Well so far the rubbish bin and the recycling bin for paper have moved next door and I think I saw the cat fly past sideways a few minutes ago.

I just opened the back door and you can hear the wind whistling through the trees. Sounds spooky.

Worst night ever though was on a boat moored in the marina overnight listening to the wind howling and whistling through the masts of the boats. Very scary.

Anyway, I have my hot choccy now so sleep will hopefully hit me soon.

LOL Lindy - I used to have that problem in the Shetlands. I'd walk to the washing line (about 100ft away) peg it up, then pull it off the wall of the croft house on my way in!!!!

Well I knew it! said I wouldn't sleep the wind is howling, bangs everywhere and to crown all can't get the gas fire on it keeps blowing out................oh what a blooming night!

Blowing a gale in Chelmsford now.

The shutters are rattling and aeriels banging, will have to wait until daylight to see if the fences are still there.

The dogs are sound asleep, though.
