I know we were forecast for it up here in the North East for today and it was a little rough but not as bad as expected. It does seem it is more widespread than predicted.

But I have to say it has just started to get terrible up here in Tynemouth. I was just about to go to bed, but quarter full wheelie bin and empty brown bin has just gone over so I have had to put them in the garage. Lights keep dimming as well as my laptop screen each time we have a bad gust.

Hope all affected are ok and stay safe.

Was talking today to relatives of my late friend, was at her house after her funeral, and they come from Burton on Trent, is that near you?

Yes!

Windy here in West Norfolk!

The rumble from the wind sounds quite similar to the rumble I heard about 0056 on Wednesday Morning, so I keep thinking, "Another one"??

pmsl.........Jenny don't know about the beans but was thinking a side of nice spicy chili would go good with the cornbeef.........as for the drifts so long as they get blown away from the doors and make a path for the dogs to run......I'll be okay with that.

Liz, my Asburys hail from Burton on Trent.

Debs, ahh didn't realise you were there, thought you meant in UK somewhere lol. I want snow too. We hardly ever get it because we're on the coast.
