To download SOME internet video footage, right click on the video link and select "Save Target As..." from the menu that pops up. You will then be able to select where to save it to and change the title if you wish.
You won't be able to do this with, for example, YouTube. For this you will need a YouTube downloader and FLV player or convertor.
Linda, if you mean a video (such as VHS) then you will need some additional hardware.

Hi Erroll,

See what I mean I don't even know what I am talking about.

I shot some video yesterday and I want to get it onto a disc.

What sort of video is it? If it's digital then you should be able to connect the camera to the computer and use the software that came with it. If it is an older camera then you will need to convert from analogue to digital for which you may need additional hardware.

Hi Erroll,

It is digital. We have found a disc called DV Studio 2 for Windows 95 and 98. I am Windows XP. Will that work?

What make and model is the camera?
It may work with XP but you really need to obtain the latest version and drivers unless you run the software under compatibility mode, which is far from ideal.

Camera is Panasonic NV-MX1

It should have come with leads to connect to a computer. Check the instruction manual for how to do this.
As far as the software is concerned, if you right click on it you can select the compatibility mode if it doesn't seem to run under the XP operating system.

I've just looked on the Panasonic website to see if there is an upgraded driver/software download but there isn't.
